What is ControlQore?

ControlQore is a job costing and WIP platform purpose-built for construction contractors. It handles job costing, cost-to-complete tracking, WIP schedules, and financial reporting. More affordable than Sage 100 Contractor or Viewpoint, and AI-infused. Priced at roughly $100/month per $1M in revenue.

Do all SPM clients use ControlQore?

Yes. We work exclusively in ControlQore. All clients switch to ControlQore as part of the 60-day onboarding. We set it up, migrate the data, and run it — you don't have to learn the software.

What's the difference between Core and Executive Financial?

Core includes ControlQore setup, job costing, cost-to-complete tracking, full bookkeeping (including vendor ACH payments, AR management, bank recs, and transaction matching), controllership, and 1 monthly CFO meeting. Executive adds monthly WIP schedule, 13-week cash flow forecast, CEO Report, and 3 CFO meetings per month. Both tiers include 60-day onboarding.

Do you handle payroll?

No. We don't handle payroll. We have vetted payroll software partners — including prevailing wage — that integrate directly with ControlQore. That's a separate cost referred through SPM.

What software do you use?

We work exclusively in ControlQore for job costing and WIP. Clients must switch to ControlQore — we set it up, migrate the data, and run it for you. We teach you how to read the numbers. You don't have to learn the software.

How long does onboarding take?

60 days. We migrate your books to the start of your last taxable year, set up ControlQore, and build your job costing structure. Fully operational in two months.

What if my AR is getting out of control?

We have a direct partnership with National Lien Services. When collections go long we connect you immediately — protecting your cash on both the forecasting side and the enforcement side. That's a separate cost but a vetted referral through SPM.

Do you work with Canadian contractors?

Yes. We serve commercial subcontractors and self-performing GCs in the US and Canada doing $1M–$12M in revenue.
