SPM IS AN OFFICIAL CONTROLQORE IMPLEMENTATION PARTNER.
SPM is an official implementation partner for ControlQore, the job costing and WIP platform we set up and manage for commercial subcontractors doing $1M to $12M. The designation means we implement ControlQore to the vendor's own standard rather than to a workaround we invented, with a direct line into the ControlQore team for anything a setup runs into.
A partner designation is only useful if it changes something on your end, and this one changes two things. Your setup gets built the way the people who wrote the software expect it to be built, which removes the most common source of wrong job cost numbers. And when the platform changes or an edge case comes up on your books, we resolve it with the vendor directly instead of troubleshooting blind or telling you to open a support ticket. You never carry a second vendor relationship for this.
WHAT IT MEANS.
An official ControlQore implementation partner is a firm the software vendor has recognized as setting client systems up to its own internal standard, with direct access to the ControlQore team for anything an implementation requires.
The designation is granted by ControlQore, not claimed by us. Any firm can buy the software and call itself familiar with it, which is why the distinction is worth stating plainly: an official implementation partner is a status the vendor extends based on implementation process and results, and it comes with access that a firm outside the program doesn't have.
WHAT OWNERS ASSUME.
An official partner designation probably means it costs more
It doesn't. ControlQore setup and ongoing management stay inside the flat monthly fee, and the partnership doesn't add a charge, a markup, or a second vendor relationship you have to manage. The designation changes how the work gets done, not what the engagement costs you.
We'd have to deal with ControlQore directly for support
You wouldn't. SPM handles implementation and support with the ControlQore team on your behalf, which is most of the point of the designation. Clients don't need their own login to a support queue or a relationship with a software vendor to keep the platform running correctly.
Any firm that uses the software can call itself a partner
An official implementation partner designation is a vendor recognized status rather than a self applied label. It reflects that ControlQore itself has reviewed our implementation process and our results and recognized both. That's a different thing from a firm that bought a subscription and learned the menus.
WHAT IT CHANGES FOR YOU.
As an official implementation partner, SPM sets ControlQore up and manages it following the same standard the ControlQore team uses internally: proper chart of accounts alignment, cost code structure, WIP configuration, and validation. It's not a best effort implementation assembled out of independent workarounds. That distinction is where most wrong job cost numbers come from, so it's worth more than the logo on the page.
The partnership gives SPM direct access to the ControlQore team for implementation questions and platform updates. If something in the platform changes or an edge case comes up on your books, we resolve it at the source rather than troubleshooting alone or guessing at intended behavior. Your setup also stays current as the platform develops, instead of drifting away from how the software is meant to work.
SPM manages the entire ControlQore relationship on your behalf: implementation, updates, and support. You don't sign a separate software agreement, negotiate a renewal, or sit in a vendor onboarding call. The people who configured your cost codes are the same people who deal with the vendor when something needs deciding.
